Final International Scientific and Practical Conference Of the project "Borders through the eyes of people" PDF Print E-mail

On 24-25th September 2014 in Ny?regyh?za (Hungary) within the Project «Borders through the eyes of people» under the ENPI CBC Programme Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine in partnership with Regional Development Association “KIUT” took place the International scientific and practical conference "System for the sociological facilitation of transborder cooperation”.

The conference was opened by welcome speeches of Serhii Ustych - project coordinator, PhD, director of the Institute for transborder cooperation, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Andras R?k?czi – Executive Director, Association for Regional Development KIUT in Zahony, Hungary,

Volodymyr Smolanka - project partner, MD, Professor, Rector of SHEI “Uzhgorod National University”, Uzhgorod, Ukraine.

The conference was welcomed by representatives of state and local governments both by diplomats.

Among the panelists, in particular, were:

Ker?l? Judit – Educational deputy dean, institute director, college professor, College of Ny?regyh?za, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, The Institute of Applied Communication

Dr. P?l Tam?s – Professor, Director of Center for Sociology of Corvinus University of Budapest, Institute of Sociology of Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Budapest.

There were two panel sessions during which took place very substantive and fruitful discussion on the project. Also were worked out the scientific and practical recommendations on optimization of sociological provision for cross-border cooperation.

In the near future conference proceedings will be published in Ukrainian and English.
